An 8-year-old boy climbed into his grandmother's parked Honda Fit on Monday in Lindenhurst and pressed the start button, sending the car down the driveway before it struck and injured the woman as she tried to stop it, the Suffolk County Police Department said. The 63-year-old woman was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip in serious condition, police said. Her grandson was unharmed. Read the full story in the link in bio.
