I did not come to this country to be feared. I came here as a migrant, rebuilt my life here, and found people who chose compassion over suspicion. That is why moments like this matter. A new Prime Minister does not only shape policy. They shape tone. They shape what kind of language becomes normal, what kind of fear gets fed, and whether communities feel protected or pushed further to the margins. I want to live in a Britain that refuses to make anyone the enemy. A Britain that leads with dignity.
