**Trigger warning** Middle aged woman makes involuntary noise while lying down...you can't say you weren't warned. Ok, as you were. You know how lots of couples agree on a budget for Christmas presents? Agreeing on roughly how much you’ll each invest, so nobody turns up with a pair of socks while the other has booked a week in New York. Well, you can do the same with your vows. You don’t need matching word counts, matching structures or matching stories. Agree on a time budget, say 90 seconds to 2 min each, (or 20 minutes if you’re Taylor Swift #WTAF) and write what you genuinely want to say within it. You’ll both have plenty of freedom, while knowing you’re preparing for roughly the same-sized moment. You can comment “freebie” for the How Wedding Ceremonies Work guide if you’re just starting out. Also because free. 🥳
