Jim Ross addressed WWE’s reported soft ticket sales for the two-night SummerSlam in Minnesota on Grilling JR, where co-host Conrad Thompson noted around 22,000 tickets sold against roughly 50,000 at last year’s show. Ross pointed to one missing ingredient: “WWE doesn’t have any one wrestler that’s just quite hot. You got to have somebody hot, somebody that people are talking about, and they don’t have that right now. They got a lot of great talents. It’s always been a matter of how they’re utilized.” On Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk sharing the top spot: “I don’t feel that they have anybody hot or close to being hot on that national or international level.
