Gangrel told the story of spraying his blood all over Donald Trump at Madison Square Garden on Insight with Chris Van Vliet. He and Kane were added to the house show at the last minute in 1999 or 2000, and Gangrel had no idea Trump was sitting front row: "I clearly looked and go, this guy doesn't belong here, whoever it is."
The crowd noise made him spray harder: "The fans were trying to touch him, so he was pulling away and moving closer to the barricade. So he was going more into the spray zone, the Gallagher zone. When I hear them, I sprayed extra hard."
Stephanie McMahon told him Vince McMahon wanted a meeting, and Gangrel spent two sleepless nights convinced he was fired. Instead: "I walk in, and he goes, 'Well, wasn't that great?' He's laughing. It turns out it was like a double rib. He knew that he was coming, so he put his seats there, booked me on the show, flew me in, knowing no matter what, I'm gonna spray that blood, because that's just what I do."
WWE even had a replace...
