A train bridge just north of Des Moines collapsed after a truck that exceeded the height of the bridge struck it while going under it. Just before 6 p.m. on Friday, July 17, calls of an accident in the 440 block of Northwest Second Street were reported to the Polk County Sheriff's Office Communications Center, according to a news release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office. #DesMoines #Iowa #BridgeCollapse
