With every milestone they are approaching at present, they are shattering it with utmost gusto, and this, their first main stage festival appearance, is a pretty significant one to add to the cabinet. And with this much swagger and smoothness at their disposal, they make light work of making this latest big moment their absolute own. ‘Everyday’ continues to be one of the best alt-rock ballads dispensed in recent times, whilst their latest slice of spiky pop-punk ‘On and On’ feels even more iron clad with every showing it has. Add a smattering of scene-stealing staples ‘15 Missed Calls’ and ‘Sharkbait’ and you have a set that is as personal, compelling and irresistibly catchy as it gets.
