Campus Captain Kobby Yeboah exemplifies mental health leadership, as he has created a culture of support at Lexington Christian Academy. In just one year, Kobby created one of our most active high school chapters. They hosted an impactful collaborative event with one of the local college THO chapters, where Campus Captains and chapter members from both the high school and the college came together to support one another and connect around their shared mental health advocacy goals.
For Kobby, being a Campus Captain is about more than leading events —it’s about showing up for others.
“Being a Campus Captain has reminded me that leadership starts with being there for others. I’m grateful to be part of a community that’s helping break the stigma around mental health in sports and creating a space where student-athletes feel supported.”
We’re so grateful for our student-athlete leaders like Kobby who are creating these systems and making a lasting impact. 💚
