Join us in congratulating Peer Mentor, Mia Swenson, for being selected as a 2026 regional honoree of the Billie Jean King Youth Leadership Award. 👏 The Billie Jean King Youth Leadership Award is an annual honor presented during The ESPYS that recognizes high school and college-aged students who leverage the power of sports to improve their communities. Mia has exemplified mental health leadership throughout her time as a Peer Mentor over the last four years, but most especially this past year when she helped start our Campus Captains program within the northeast ski schools! Next year, Mia will continue to volunteer within our Campus Captains program while beginning her PhD in Clinical Psychology. She’ll be conducting her research within the Suicide Risk and Prevention Research Lab at Texas Tech University.
