This photo may not look like much but, let me tell you, it is. Anytime Sam gets a blood draw, she gets an Icee (or another fun drink). We decided that she could walk into QT on her own and buy her drink while I (mom) stayed in the car. She scared me a little by coming out a different door but did great! These little steps are helping her become more independent. The hardest part is letting go a little bit.
