I’ve shared a lot about fibroids because I’ve been personally affected and it feels just as important to speak on the challenges faced by those living with PCOS. While I don’t have personal experience with it, I’ve taken the time to understand it more.
One thing is clear: when it comes to PCOS, prioritising nutrition isn’t optional. Trying to pursue weight loss without addressing nutrition is like climbing a downward escalator. Internal repair has to come first before any lasting physical change can happen, and that process takes time.
Through my research, I’ve also come across habits that can make weight loss with PCOS even more difficult; things many people overlook. These include constant snacking or eating between meals, long periods of sitting, low fibre intake, poor sleep, high stress levels, and relying heavily on ultra-processed foods. None of these exist in isolation. They compound.
