My body knows peace, and it is pleasing to me.💫 This came to me on the drive home from the school run this morning and I thought it was too good not to share.
Life can try to rob us of peace; sickness, infertility, chronic pain, grief and bereavement, financial pressure, uncertainty about the future, broken relationships, loneliness, disappointment, delays, or doors that seem to remain closed. These things can create, tension, and unrest within us.
Anxious hurry during these seasons is often fear driven but peace steps in to remind us we're held.
Peace says: your body will not be ruled by fear.
Peace says: God is near to the brokenhearted and restores what feels lost.
Peace says: provision will meet you, even in lack.
Peace says: your story is not over, and delay is not denial.
Peace says: you are not forgotten, and you are not alone.
Peace says: what concerns you concerns God.
Peace says: every storm must bow to His authority.
Today, I choose peace. And I receive it fully.
