Jared Verse was one of the most dominant defensive ends in college football during his two seasons at FSU!
After starting his career at FCS Albany, the 6’4”, 254-pound edge rusher transferred to Tallahassee and immediately made an impact under head coach Mike Norvell, recording 48 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and 9 sacks in 2022 while earning first-team All-ACC honors and Defensive MVP honors for the Seminoles.
In 2023, he posted another 41 tackles, 12.5 TFLs, and 9 sacks, repeating as a first-team All-ACC selection and All-American as FSU went undefeated in the regular season and won the ACC title.
Verse’s explosive first-step quickness, relentless motor, and ability to disrupt opposing backfields—highlighted by standout performances against LSU and in the ACC Championship—elevated the Seminoles’ defense and cemented his status as a top NFL prospect, leading to his selection 19th overall by the Los Angeles Rams in the 2024 draft.
