Here’s what’s actually worth doing: 🔥 Cook your leafy greens and herbs when you can. This parasite survives a normal rinse and even chemical sanitizers, but heat breaks it down, so basil, cilantro, and spinach are safer sautéed than raw. 💧 Wash everything under running water anyway, even if it says “pre-washed” on the bag. It won’t fully eliminate the parasite, but it lowers how much you’re exposed to. 🔪 Peel produce when the option exists.
