Someone asked me a few days what’s the difference between the meaning behind the art I create now vs what I use to. The best answer I could give was that I use to create work to process the darkness we were forced to sit with in 2020 and onwards. Now I create work that reflects softness and joy in spite the of our climate. It felt selfish to admit that.
