🌸 You don’t have to change people to unlock their potential… you just have to adjust the environment…. Just a bit!
I had the privilege of speaking to my neighboring city of Burbank,from firefighters đźš’ and police officers đź‘® to healthcare professionals, city leaders, parks and recreation staff, and so many others, about the power of neurodiversity in the workplace.
One of the messages that means the most to me is this:
You can’t change the flower… but you can adjust its environment. And when you do, you’ll be amazed by how beautifully it blooms. 🌼
As someone who was once told what I couldn’t do, I know firsthand that talent isn’t the problem, opportunity is. When employers create workplaces where neurodivergent people are understood, supported, and valued, they don’t just change lives… they build stronger teams, stronger communities, and a stronger future.
