From the racetrack to the show ring, and everywhere in between and beyond, Thoroughbreds show time and time again that they can do it all ❤️ In celebration of that, the 10th edition of the Real Rider Cup - a charity showjumping event - was held Saturday evening in Lexington, Kentucky to showcase the versatility of off-track Thoroughbreds while fundraising for aftercare. With riders from across the racing industry and equestrian community sporting some of the sport’s most iconic silks, from Claiborne Farm to Stonestreet Farm and plenty more, this year’s event raised a total of $74,645 for beneficiaries New Vocations, Retired Racehorse Project, and Beyond the Wire. Overall, the Real Rider Cup has raised $856,401.52 since its inception. Some recognizable retirees at this year’s event included Gray Magician, United, Tower of Texas, Happy Farm, Hozier…just to name a handful 🌟 A total of 33 retired racehorses, who varied in race record, age, and experience, competed this year. . . . #thor...
