Moved to the USA from Haiti, alone. I didn’t speak English. I’ve been on welfare. I’ve slept in my car with an infant. I’ve experienced bankruptcy, repossession, heartbreak, and seasons where I didn’t know how I was going to make it. But I never stopped believing that my life could become something different.
