#Repost blackwealthify ... Three Black physicians opened Chicago's first Black-owned urgent care center on the South Side. Drs. Reuben C. Rutland, Michael A. McGee, and Airron Richardson launched Premier Health Urgent Care. The center is at 1301 East 47th Street in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood. The physicians created it to fill a gap in local healthcare access. Patients now receive care from doctors who share their background and experiences. Dr. Airron Richardson said, “We live in the neighborhood and recognize that when our children were injured or sick, there was no urgent care nearby.” Dr. Michael A.
