An Arizona driver was arrested after troopers say a blue Subaru was clocked traveling 110 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on an East Valley freeway.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the stop happened on July 15 during an HOV enforcement detail on Loop 202 near McDowell Road.
A trooper with the Motors Unit reportedly recorded the Subaru traveling 45 MPH over the posted speed limit using LiDAR before conducting a traffic stop.
The driver was arrested and booked on suspicion of criminal speeding and reckless driving.
Do you think getting caught at 110 MPH should automatically lead to an arrest?
