An Arizona motorcyclist was arrested after allegedly being clocked at 101 MPH while weaving between vehicles in Mesa, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Authorities say a Highway Patrol trooper first observed the motorcycle traveling at roughly 100 MPH on July 7 before a LiDAR reading confirmed the rider was going 101 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. As the motorcycle continued westbound, investigators say the rider passed between vehicles, weaved through traffic and nearly caused multiple collisions before a traffic stop was conducted. The rider was arrested on suspicion of criminal speeding and reckless driving, and the motorcycle was impounded.
