An Arizona driver was pulled over near Payson with a trailer riding directly on its bare rims. 😭 According to AZDPS, the driver said the trailer had developed tire problems and was trying to reach town for replacements—but apparently didn’t realize there were no usable tires left. Troopers cited the driver for operating an unsafe vehicle. Beyond the obvious road hazard, metal scraping against the pavement can throw sparks and potentially ignite dry roadside vegetation during wildfire season. Thankfully, no fire was reported.
