Arizona’s population keeps growing—but the “600 people moving here every day” headline only tells half the story. 🚚 New U.S. Census Bureau estimates show Arizona gained about 51,000 more residents from other states than it lost in 2024. That works out to roughly 140 additional people per day after accounting for everyone who moved away. So yes, the moving trucks are still coming—but plenty of Arizonans are packing up too. The growth continues to bring more workers, businesses and development, while also adding pressure to housing, traffic, infrastructure and water planning across the state.
