An Arizona woman is facing 46 criminal charges after police say she hit a pedestrian, fled the scene and then crashed her pickup truck into an occupied home. The incident happened on the evening of July 11 along White Mountain Avenue in San Carlos. Investigators say 32-year-old Ashley Nosie first struck a pedestrian, continued driving and eventually plowed into the nearby residence. The pedestrian and one person inside the home were critically injured. Several children were also inside when the crash happened, but police said none of them were injured. Nosie now faces 46 charges, including aggravated DUI, six counts of aggravated assault, 15 counts of endangerment, seven child-welfare counts and leaving the scene of an accident. The investigation remains ongoing, and all charges are allegations unless proven in court. How does one night end with 46 separate charges?
