We are #ECUHealthProud of Charmaine Reeder, community health engagement coordinator, for receiving a North Carolina Governor’s Volunteer Service Award, on behalf of ECU Health’s work with Pitt County Meals on Wheels. For the past four years, ECU Health’s Community Health team has partnered with Pitt County Meals on Wheels to help deliver meals and connect neighbors in need. As a Greenville native, Charmaine knows the impact health care disparities can have on a community—and she is proud to help make a difference close to home. Charmaine was recognized alongside fellow honorees Traquavis Harris, Sara Gray Tingen and Angelina Brittle, whose service also reflects a shared commitment to strengthening our communities.
