If you haven’t seen the hidden stairs next to Parliament Hill, this is your sign to visit them. 👀 Not only are the views amazing, but it’s also such a unique place. Picture yourself walking down 286 steps toward the river shore, surrounded by some of the greenest foliage in the city. Now picture doing this in the fall. I bet you can already imagine the stunning landscape! The colours must be absolutely out of this world. ✨ Once you reach the bottom, walk east toward the Ottawa Locks, and you’ll also spot the new East Wharf dock facing Parliament. You can walk all the way there and enjoy an ice cream from the food truck located at the dock. How to find the stairs: From the Centennial Flame, walk to the left of Parliament Hill. Head toward the statue of Queen Victoria, then you’ll see a lookout and a path on the right.
