Jim Legxacy’s ‘Black British Music’ is more than an album title… it’s an entire identity 🇬🇧 Raised in South London by Nigerian parents, Jim has spent years blending UK rap, Afrobeats, indie rock, R&B, and emo into a sound that doesn’t fit one genre. On this project, he used that same approach to tell a much bigger story about what being Black and British looks like today. The tape is packed with references that only make sense in that world, from the Windrush Generation to Wayne Rooney and Canada Water, while also dealing with grief after the loss of his sister.
