The WPSL Eastern region playoffs second matchup on Saturday 7/11 was PA Classics vs the Columbus Eagles. The first half was scoreless, with both teams looking for that opening goal, but when the second half began, then the goals started. PA Classics opened the scoring in the 35’ with a goal by Suydam. In the 67’, Coy scored for the Classics, bringing the score to 2-0. Solidifying their run, Groh scored a third goal for the classics in the 85’. Not to be out done, the Eagles answered immediately in the 86’ with a goal by Dapino, but it wasn’t enough for a win. The PA Classics moved on to the regional championships, 3-1.
