Lourdes & Rocamadour 🚣🙏🇫🇷 My neighborhood parish growing up was Our Lady of Lourdes. Notre Dame has a replica grotto, one-seventh of the size of the one in Lourdes. I completed my first Marian consecration on Feb. 11, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. So it was special to go on pilgrimage with adventurepilgrimages to visit the site where Our Lady first appeared to Bernadette, a shrine of peace and healing. From kayaking on the Dordogne River to exploring small, scenic French towns to celebrating Mass in churches centuries old to visiting Rocamadour, an ancient pilgrimage sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary dating back to the 12th century, this was a pilgrimage full of many graces, experiencing God in nature, people, and prayer 🙏 #lourdes #rocamadour #virginmary
