He uses calligraphy as a form of meditation. For Jamyang Dorjee Chakrishar (@jamyangchakrishar), Tibetan calligraphy requires focus, patience, and complete concentration. Every stroke asks him to be fully present, whether he is creating a monumental scroll or writing a single word. Reflecting on his practice, he says, “I don’t recite prayer.
