For 20 years, he has practiced Tibetan calligraphy every day. Jamyang Dorjee Chakrishar (@jamyangchakrishar) first learned Tibetan handwriting in school, but much of his artistic journey has been self-taught. For the past two decades, he has practiced every day, developing his own artistic approach while studying calligraphy traditions from around the world. For Jamyang, calligraphy is more than mastering technique. He also finds joy in sharing it with others—whether creating monumental works or writing someone’s name in Tibetan script.
