Hamilton County will go through a one-year moratorium on data centers after the County Commission approved the plan. In the meantime, the County Planning Department will study the potential impacts of data centers, according to the resolution, including issues with utility infrastructure, light and noise pollution and other environmental impacts. The department's officials are set to present a set of zoning regulations for data centers by March 2027.
