I’ve been wanting to customize the back of my pgytechglobal backpack, so today we are handcrafting a custom veg-tan leather patch from scratch.
The process started over at the laser bed. I’m using the xtool.official P2 55W CO2 laser to cut the precise initial outline and dial in the design details on some premium veg-tan leather I picked up from michaelsstores . Once the laser finished the clean cuts, I prepped the piece and attached a heavy-duty Velcro backing so it’s modular and ready to swap onto any hook-and-loop panel.
For the filmmakers and gearheads wondering how this was shot: we brought out the heavy hitters for this project.
