I was the chubby kid. Pushed in a wheelchair. Couldn’t run as fast. Felt like I didn’t belong. Then I chose to amputate my arm at 17 to wrestle, because I had a vision and I’d do whatever it took. The gym became the place I proved to myself that the body I was given wasn’t the body I was limited to. I placed third in my first bodybuilding competition. I still train every day, currently on a 13-week cut. People look at me now and assume this is just how I showed up. It’s not. Every single pound of this was earned in private.
