San Francisco is turning a scenic stretch of Twin Peaks Boulevard into a permanent pedestrian promenade. 🥾🌉 After closing to cars in 2020, the popular Twin Peaks route is officially being transformed into a car-free linear park. Construction is underway to create two parallel paths with overlooks and seating areas. Parts of the area are currently closed for work with an estimated opening in mid-2027. Once complete, the Twin Peaks Promenade will become the newest segment of the planned 550-mile Bay Area Ridge Trail. Hit the link in our bio for more details. #mysecretsf 📸 Mikheil Kuzmidi / Unsplash #localnews #sanfrancisco
