One of our favorite sports trips was one that probably didn’t get a whole lot of clicks, but it was still one of the best. In true "us" fashion, it was spontaneous. We drove out to Wichita to cover the first game of the 2024 TBT, where Team Colorado was playing. Our family has always loved Coach Rueb, Evan, and so many of the guys on that team, so getting to be there felt special from the start. And we were literally the only media there covering the Colorado team. We had the best time. They won that game, and it was so much fun being the only ones on the baseline and in the press conference. We kept it professional, of course. We didn’t cheer. But man, we were screaming on the inside. At one point, I almost got taken out on the baseline when Josh Adams and a K-State player came flying toward me.
