Let’s celebrate your horsey reading achievements this summer!☀️🐴📚 At The Plaid Horse we believe deeply in the power of both horses and books to bring people together and build an amazing, connected community. To encourage young riders to invest in reading, we’re hosting a Summer Reading Challenge for kids! Send us a list of horsey books you’ve read for a chance to win a prize! 🏆 Here are the rules to enter: • You must be between the ages of 6 and 13 • All books on your list must be horse related! Both fiction and nonfiction count • Create a list of the books you’ve read this summer from June 1st through August 31st • Comment below if you’d like to enter the challenge • Once you’ve commented to enter, we’ll reach out to you to collect your reading list • Lists are due August 31, 2026 The winner will have their name printed in the October issue of The Plaid Horse magazine and receive a free year’s subscription to TPH Kids Book Club!
