Introducing “the Last Stand” barber studio.
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what I wanted the next chapter of my career to look like. For years I assumed it had to mean another shop, more chairs, more staff and more growth, because that’s what we’re all taught success looks like. But somewhere along the way I realised that what I actually wanted was almost the complete opposite.
The Last Stand is just one chair in a small room above the high street, but to me it feels bigger than anything I’ve built before. It’s somewhere I can slow things down, give every client my full attention and create the kind of atmosphere that made me fall in love with barbering in the first place. No conveyor belt. No trying to squeeze one more haircut into the day. Just good work, good conversation and enough time to do both properly.
I’ve always believed that people come for a haircut but come back because of how they felt while they were there. That’s what I want this place to become. Somewhere...
