Last week the Rotman School hosted the joint case competition, the first ever to bring together students from both U of T’s MMPA (Master of Management and Professional Accounting) and Rotman's GDipPA (Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting) programs. A total of 120 GDipPA students and 73 MMPA students formed 35 teams to prepare an insurance claim for a fictional business, Jack Resort, following a fire. Four teams advanced to the final round, and after a strong set of presentations, a GDipPA team took the winning spot.
