Sealy is a 2-month-old Elkhound who was attacked by her mother at just 3 weeks old and left basically lifeless. Critter Cavalry Rescue (CCR) in Tennessee stepped in and took Sealy to a nearby vet where it was determined that she had suffered a brain injury from the incident. The injury left her with a neurological condition, which affects her motor skills – making it very difficult for her to stand up and get around on her own. Candace, a member of CCR, says, “She’s strong-willed. She’s never known any different and does not feel sorry for herself. She relies on sense of touch, is stubborn and resilient, and I am so grateful for her. My purpose in life is to help those who cannot help themselves, especially those like Sealy.” The rescue wanted to help Sealy in any way they could - so they reached out to Walkin’ Pets, a pet mobility company, for assistance.
