A sold-out crowd flooded LeBreton Flats as Angine de Poitrine, Sheryl Crow and Ella Langley took over the 35,000-capacity RBC Stage on Friday night. Fans arrived hours before the gates opened, with thousands dressed in Angine de Poitrine’s signature black-and-white polka dots for one of the most anticipated performances of the year. The Quebec duo’s rise has been insane, going from performing for roughly 200 people at a small venue in Hull just months ago to playing in front of tens of thousands at Bluesfest. The massive night also brought visitors from across the region, boosting Ottawa’s hotels, restaurants and local businesses.
