Martin Scorsese Returns to Las Vegas With Netflix Star-Studded Crime Drama “The Roman”
Las Vegas is once again becoming the backdrop for power, ambition, and organized crime. Netflix has officially revealed new details surrounding The Roman, an eight-episode drama executive produced by legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese, marking his return to Las Vegas nearly three decades after Casino became one of the defining crime films of its generation.
Leading the series is Oscar Isaac as Robert “Bobby Red” Redman, the president of one of Las Vegas’ most powerful casino empires. Joining him is an impressive ensemble that includes Kate Mara, Vincent D’Onofrio, Betty Gilpin, Alec Baldwin, David Costabile, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Jimmy O. Yang, Clancy Brown, Thomas Sadoski, and Jason Schwartzman.
