💪 For #DisabilityPrideMonth, today, we're honored to hear what disability pride means to Ellie, who's partnered with Service Dog Paola. 🐕‍🦺 For Ellie, this month is about celebrating the amazing work done by disability advocates throughout history and looking toward creating a more inclusive world. "When you exist in a world that wasn't built for you, you have to get really good, really quickly, at figuring out how to adapt. Everyone in the disability community shares what has helped them and assists others in getting that same help," Ellie shares, adding that she's thankful for pioneers like Judy Heumann and Ed Roberts. As an adult with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Ellie adds that #servicedog Paola is key to greater independence in her life and creating opportunities she wouldn't think were possible otherwise.
