š³ Four young boys turned a Ferrari worth around $530,000 into a playground in China, sparking a neighborhood dispute that nearly ended in court.
The incident happened on May 28 in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province, while the owner, identified as Zhang, was away on a business trip.
Zhang said he purchased the red Ferrari, widely identified as a 488 GTB, for 3.6 million yuan in 2020 and left it in his regular outdoor parking space.
Surveillance footage reportedly showed four boys around six or seven years old approaching with long bamboo poles, climbing over the hood and roof, and repeatedly using the supercar like a slide.
When Zhang returned, he found scratches across the hood, roof, fenders, taillights and windows, with local reports counting at least 14 visible marks and a crack in the front bumper.
He said repairs through an official Ferrari dealer would have started at roughly 100,000 yuan, or about $15,000.
