❗️Ferrari may have finally fixed the F80’s most hated feature, its underwhelming exhaust note.
At the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Ferrari demonstrated a silver F80 equipped with a dramatically louder factory track exhaust.
The system removes much of the street car’s emissions and silencing hardware, allowing its 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 to sound sharper, rawer and far more aggressive.
The original road-legal F80 was widely criticized for sounding muted outside, especially compared with V12 predecessors such as the LaFerrari and Enzo.
Despite producing a combined 1,184 hp, its standard exhaust struggled to deliver the theater expected from a roughly $4 million Ferrari flagship.
The new setup finally reveals the engine’s racing character, with clearer exhaust pulses, louder gear changes and a much more intense high-rpm howl.
Unfortunately, the exhaust is intended exclusively for track use and does not represent a sound upgrade for every street-legal F80.
