❗️Audi is finally dialing back the giant-screen trend and bringing physical buttons back to its future interiors.
Upcoming cabins will use smaller, more discreet displays alongside tactile buttons, rotary dials and genuine metal components.
Audi wants every control to deliver the premium “click and feel” that once made its interiors industry benchmarks.
Screens will not disappear completely, but technology will become less dominant and more naturally integrated into the dashboard.
The new design philosophy is already previewed by the Concept C, which combines aluminum controls with a 10.4-inch display that folds away when unused.
Audi’s upcoming sports cars will introduce the approach first, followed by mainstream models such as the A4 e-tron and Q7 e-tron around 2028.
Should every automaker follow Audi and bring real buttons back?
