Resident’s Quick Call Leads to Burglary Arrest On Saturday night, around 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to a Stevenson Ranch neighborhood near The Old Road and Silver Aspen Way after a resident reported suspicious activity. The caller observed a masked adult male who appeared to be casing residences before attempting to open a window of a home. Responding deputies quickly located the suspect and took him into custody on felony attempt burglary charges and for possession of burglary tools. The 43-year-old Los Angeles man was transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail where he remains in custody on $50,000 bail. If you see suspicious activity, let us know.
