More than $400K in stolen cargo recovered; 4 suspects arrested. On July 17, 2026, Santa Clarita Valley Station deputies were notified by LASD Major Crimes Bureau detectives a semi-truck containing stolen cargo was actively pinging in the Valencia area. Deputies quickly canvassed the area and located the stolen semi-truck. They observed several individuals actively unloading the stolen cargo and transferring the merchandise into a Penske box truck. When the suspects realized they had been detected, they attempted to flee but were immediately detained by responding deputies. Four suspects were arrested without incident. A second Penske box truck loaded with stolen cargo was in an area nearby. The recovered stolen cargo was valued at more than $400,000. The investigation is being conducted by Major Crimes Bureau. #LASD #SCV
