"10 YEARS! Exactly 10 years ago, on May 16, 2016, I was diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma cancer called “desmoplastic small round cell tumor” (dsrct). I was told that I had a 20% chance of survival- my exact words were “MY GOD IS BIGGER THAN A NUMBER!” It wasn’t easy and there were MANY times I wanted to quit. The list of treatment, surgeries, stories seems never ending, NEVERTHELESS life has been so sweet. Of course I still have my challenges but just have to fight through them and keep living.
