"10 YEARS!
Exactly 10 years ago, on May 16, 2016, I was diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma cancer called “desmoplastic small round cell tumor” (dsrct).
I was told that I had a 20% chance of survival- my exact words were “MY GOD IS BIGGER THAN A NUMBER!”
It wasn’t easy and there were MANY times I wanted to quit.
The list of treatment, surgeries, stories seems never ending, NEVERTHELESS life has been so sweet. Of course I still have my challenges but just have to fight through them and keep living.
So here’s to the people that have carried me through. Here’s to the prayers that were lifted on my behalf. Here’s to the doctors and medical teams that have done so much in saving my life. But more than anything here’s to Jesus who conquered it all and gave me hope.
