First reaction to @Louis Vuitton’s new beauty drop: a $58 lip pencil, a $1,560 lip kit, and a $455 pencil sharpener… 🫣 Beauty queens, you know I’m a bougie girl but I personally just can’t justify these prices for the product. We’ve yet to try them, so this is strictly based on first impressions from what we’re being presented, but I’m not sold. The shape of the pencil is definitely interesting to me, but it won’t change anything about the performance or how you actually use the product. If anything, it seems like it might be a little harder to sharpen with a regular pencil sharpener😅 Now, if the formula absolutely blows me away I’m always willing to change my mind. But based on what we’re seeing right now, I’m struggling to understand where the value for this price is.
